“Fantastic location in the midst of the old old town. Rooms very modern and clean. Nice big bed.”
“This is a modern hotel built within an old building, central to the sights, bars and restaurants of Avila. A taxi to the hotel from the station cost about 7 Euros. The interior decor is modern and stylish, with an inner courtyard where you can sit and eat/drink, a bar and tables outside, across the street. Our room was quite large, on the second floor. The bathroom consisted of a sink, shower, toilet and bidet, all very clean, fully tiled and with free Eco-friendly toiletries. There was enough hanging space for clothes and lots of lighting choices. I would stay at this hotel again when visiting Avila.”
“Air con was playing up but the duty manager and his boss were not going to be beaten. They fixed it and were so pleasant. Great location.”
“In what was once a synagogue, this wonderful boutique hotel had great, well appointed and spacious rooms (with ours overlooking the street) with a nice blend of traditional and contempory fittings/furnishings. Extremely helpful and friendly staff made check in a breeze and helped with orientating ourselves with the town sights. A stone's throw from the cathedral and one of the city gates, the standard of hotel was a very pleasant revelation.”
“The room was quiet and comfortable and breakfast was fresh and tastey”
“Beautiful Boutique hotel, a very clever blend of old and modern. The owners were happy to chat about their project and were obviously very proud of it and rightly so. Extremely helpful, friendly & professional staff.”
“The location is perfect for visiting the museums and monuments of Ávila – it is one step away from the La plaza de la catedral and still in a quiet spot. It is easy to come back to the hotel beween the different activities. The bed and the bathroom were comfortable. The people in the reception were very helpful and made my stay in Ávila more comfortable in several ways – thanks a lot! I did not have the opportunity to eat in the hotel but the menu looks attractive. The quality/price ratio of this hotel is really good.”
“The hotel was centrally situated in Avila and convenient for all the sights, two minutes from the city walls and the cathedral. Other sites outside the walls were within walking distance. The hotel is built on the ruins of a synagogue and combines an ancient courtyard with some original stone pillars surrounded by a host of modern materials such as concrete, wood, steel, big glass doors on the courtyard in what has been an expensive reconstruction and refurbishment. The staff were welcoming and hard working. We had an excellent steak produced locally for dinner in the Restaurant. There was hotel underground car parking although the access was narrow for large cars and it was three minutes walk from the hotel. It is possible to unload suitcases from a car outside the hotel but not to park otherwise.”
“It was good to be able to buy just coffee & tostada, our usual breakfast. Often, in other hotels, this is not possible ... so this was very good for us :-)”
“Nice atmosphere in bar for some tapas. Comfortable spacious room.”
