“Location was great - close to main attractions in the city center, but in a quiet area of the center. Wifi was good in my room - good enough to watch Netflix. :) Staff was great and very helpful. They printed out some travel documents for me in the main office for no charge. There's a small market just across the street for buying drinks, snacks and some basic food items, which is handy if you just need something quick. Air conditioning worked great as well.”

“The building is simply amazing, worth visiting even if you are not staying there. Location is great as you are in the old town but not near any noisy activity. Rooms sure are small but clean and if like me all you do in your room is shower and sleep they do the job perfectly. Mine was equipped with air conditioning. No hot water but with Cartagena s temperatures this is not needed and my understanding is that most hotels have the same "problem". Staff is helpful and even rent bycicles. If you are lucky you even get to hear some reaheasing as the place is also some sort of musical school.”
“If you are the type of traveller who expects the same standards from every hotel, this is probably not the place for you. It is not a typical hotel and that is its charm: the hotel occupies the third floor of an old convert, on the second there is an acting university and a chapel and the first is used for exhibitions by local artists, and also hosts an nice café. All of this in a beautiful colonial building. The rooms are small (as one can expect from a former convent), but clean and air conditioned and have all the basics one needs. There is no hot water as in many places in Cartagena, but this is not a problem at all in these temperatures. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The location could not be better with everything old Cartagena has to offer at your footsteps. And the price is great.”
