“Really lovely owners, felt very comfortable at the hotel. Having stayed in the Isle of Wight many, many times we have experienced very similar hotels and this although not exceptional has a very charming feel about it. Made to feel very welcome and the breakfast served was prompt and tasty.”

“We were made to feel extremely welcome. A Lovely cream tea on arrival and the day before we arrived we were offered a room with a better view at no extra cost. Room 20 has a fantastic view over the sea and we spent a lot of time watching the ships go by! Within a few minutes of booking Jill had rung us to offer a discount on the ferry crossing if the hotel booked it for us. I had a few queries that were dealt with very promptly prior to arrival. Jill and the team are very friendly and the little touches such as remembering the name of our sons teddy at breakfast made him feel at ease. A great place to stay, lovely breakfast and good facilities. Whilst the pool was closed in October I think it would be great earlier in the summer with a great view out to sea. We plan on staying again.”

“Stunning room, with a four-poster bed and a spa-bath. Just a short walk to Shanklin Old Village with its quaint shops, pubs and cafes. The hotel is a little dated but the facilities and the wonderful staff and owners more than make up for any shortcomings. Only ate breakfast there but it was a full english and continental, lovely food. There were a lot of repeat customers when we were there so this hotel is obviously enjoyed as a regular holiday location by many.”

“Very friendly greeting on arrival with scones and tea. Very nice comfortable room with a sea view. Plenty of space in the car park throughout our stay. Location was nice and quiet though near to centre of Shanklin, with many fine places to eat if dining out. We really enjoyed our stay and happily recommend this hotel”

“The staff were amazing and so welcoming, as soon as we arrived we were given a cream tea and invited to sit outside in the beautiful garden. On our last day we requested a late check out and it was given to us straight away which was an amazing surprise. One of the best hotels ive stayed in.”

“We were made very welcome by all the staff. Our room was on the ground floor, which was helpful. A large group of MG classic car enthusiasts were staying at the same time; they were a nice crowd, and although we were not part of their group, were made welcome by them. My husband actually rather enjoyed looking at their gleaming cars!”

“Staff very friendly , very clean , cheep bar , wifi , easy parking , lovely hot shower , Good choice of morning meal . Issue with payment when leaving was dealt with very well . And we will be taking them up on their offer on our next stay even though we felt it wasn't needed .”
