“A very quiet location above the clouds, can be tricky to get to in the rainy seasons due to mudslides as the road is very narrow in places which can be tricky if a car is coming in the other direction! If you like quiet and birds then is a definite place to stay. The food was excellent and staff very helpful and friendly.”
“The views from the hotel and in particular were amazing. You are looking out over hills and tea plantations and surrounded by nature. Very quiet that was nice and relaxing, away from busy Munnar. The staff were friendly and helped with any questions and arranged for auto rickshaw to transport us. The auto rickshaw driver (who they use for most travellers) was excellent and explained about the tea plantations, picking tea, showed us fresh cardomon pods, lemongrass, wildlife. Really made the stay in munnar for us. Food options ok. Can have food in room or dining area. Choice of Indian or continental style breakfast. We visited end of monsoon season so quite wet. If dryer would have took a walk near the hotel to explore a bit of the surrounding area.”
