“We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It's small but with some big tropical plants, where it looked like an old church. It had a nice admosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, classic but modern which was perfect for this hotel. The swimming pool looked great but unfortunately the weather wasn't good for us to swim.”

“Loved the detail in the decor - perfectly in keeping with this beautiful old building. The Chef was totally accommodating of my dietary needs even at short notice and I enjoyed a delicious 3 course vegan meal, my husband had the sea bass which he said was cooked to perfection. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and our dog was made to feel welcome. We were only stopping off en route to further South but wished we had had time to explore the area a little more.”
“As a regular traveler to a house in the South West I've tried most hotels at this mid afternoon distance from Calais for a stop over and most are disappointing at best. Domaine Vareilles is generally pretty good. The restaurant was surprisingly good having seen some other reviews Rooms and bathrooms were well up to expectations for the price.”
