“The most fantastic Soviet-era historical hotel experience, extremely friendly staff, impromptu concerts at night once or twice a week, breakfasts were served. LOVED how they assigned guests to tables - I travelled alone but they always found an English speaking table guest for Breakfast and Dinner. Never felt lonely. Staff were honestly so friendly and warm I stayed an extra week beyond Booking.com Skiing of course was fabulous. At the hotel - they made opportunities for everyone to make new friends if they wished. The most wonderful family feeling place, surrounded by acres of snow. Affordable. Very warm. Hospitable. So incredibly affordable you wonder if its OK - but its very very clean, warm - they have doormen to open the doors! Dinners are night were hot, filling and tasty. I liked how they had a set menu with 3-4 choices of mains - saves thinking too much. Noticed for groups the staff made dishes specially for them if required. I'm coming back.”
“There is a bus to take you to the ski lift. Without the bus it is quite far away. The staff and housekeepers were quite nice.”
