“Dolcemela was a wonderful experience, the perfect place to rest and relax. The property is located in a very narrow street in the old Jewish sector and has been beautifully restored and decorated. The rooms are very spacious with every comfort and fabulous bathrooms. The breakfasts feature a superb range of foods including freshly cooked eggs, and an afternoon tea of cakes and pastries is a wonderful treat after a day of sightseeing - best eaten in the comfy chairs located in the sunny courtyard! The staff are very friendly, efficient and obliging, and make excellent restaurant suggestions. Bikes are available. Security and cleanliness were of the highest standard and wifi access was good.”

“charming property, excellent location, lovely courtyard garden with fountain, good room, spacious bathroom. (bed and pillows slightly hard to my taste), excellent breakfast with home made cakes. Above all I was treated like one of the family with delightful and helpful staff. There was some uncertainty one the last day regarding my Ryanair flight, which a charming young man on reception dealt with. Can't praise it enough - the hotel and the warmth of the staff. Please pass this on with my thanks.”

“Minutes walk from the castle down one of Ferrara's many charming cobbled streets. Spacious room in a lovely small old building. Nice touches like the sweets in the room and radio in the bathroom. It rained during our visit but the free bicycle hire is brilliant - the whole town seems to ride a bike. Breakfast pretty good too.”
