“The Hotel Diyar Timnay is a well-located, economical, basic no-frills hotel located in the center of Moulay Idriss and only a few minutes away from the Roman site at Volubilis, so it is convenient for late afternoon and early morning visits to the site when you've have it to yourself. The hotel staff are very helpful and go out of their way at meals. Otherwise, the facilities are clean, with large rooms and sufficient bathrooms, just basic. Parking is available a few minutes away in the main area used by the grand taxis and watched overnight by the guardian for 10 Dh. As long as you have these expectations and need to overnight in the area, the hotel is a well-priced alternative.”
“This was our stop-over stay to Volubilis, but we found the town to be surprising nice. Compact, convenient, friendly and definitely not overrun with tourists. The staff were nice and the rooms were very large. We had a car but there seems to be a train station to town, and the hotel was very close to the taxi station too (so convenient for a trip to Volubilis if you are going without your own car). It is functional and is good value for what it is.”
