“The rooms were very comfortable, the heater in the bathroom was a nice bonus as the bathroom did tend to get quite cold. The staff were extremely helpful not just for matters in the hotel but also with recommendations about what to do, where to go, and where to eat. The breakfast was included and very nice - good selection of cold foods and hot foods.”

“We spent one night here on our way to Queenstown. It was a really nice place to stay. Lovely and clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. They give you a complimentary drink in the library in the evening and you can watch the sunset. There is something very special about this town. The staff were wonderful, really helpful with places to go and see. We had some amazing food at The Last Kitchen which was recommended by the staff. Also we went to see the glacier which was a great thing to do and visited the lake. Would definitely stay longer next time and we hope to come back again. It is a small town so you don't need to go by car you can just about walk everywhere which is also good if you want to have a couple of wines with dinner.”
