“This is a nice hotel right on the port where the ferry docks. I twice stayed overnight on Syros to change ferries and the Diogenes was comfortable, incredibly convenient and extremely hospitable. I will definitely stay here again if I pass through Syros.”
“Incredibly convenient for my travel plans (one minute walk from harbor), arriving on evening ferry from Ikaria and departing on morning ferry to Amorgos. Very clean, comfortable and with very helpful staff. I'd have liked to be able to stay longer but travel schedule couldn't be broken. “Lovely buffet breakfast - lots of choice and all very tasty. Fabulous room overlooking the harbour area but double glazed and shutters so no noise or light at night. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and found us bus times and other information. The hotel is very convenient for the ferries - just across the road and the bus station is just down the street.”

“Great hotel in the most perfect location ! Seconds away from the port so if you arrive by ferry it couldn't be more convenient ! Then a few minutes walk and you are into town where you will find great shops, cafés, restaurants and bars. The hotel is also a few seconds away from the bus stop where you can have a coach to go to the beach. The hotel staff was lovely very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing for only 5€ per person. I would highly recommend this hotel !”

“The hotel is situated in the best place at the island of Syros. Next to the port, 1 minute from the bus stop (Ktel) and the most important in the center of Ermoupolis. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast very rich with alot of food options. The people of Diogenis Hotel couldnt be more kind and helpful. We had a great stay and I would stay there during my next visit in Syros.”
