“The staff were extraordinarily welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. I had a car problem and and the owner, who knew everybody, helped me get a mechanic to fix it - and it cost much less than in the UK. My sons were invited to play a set during a live music evening. We were late for breakfast one morning and the staff went out of their way for us. The breakfast choices were excellent. On leaving, Vivi, the owner's mother, presented us with some delicious fruit and hugs to see us on our way. We would all stay here again.”

“Hotel Dias is a great one to recommend. It is in the best place in Platamonas, in the middle of the small picturesque town. It is a family hotel, full of friendly atmosphere of the owners, specially the woman who speaks a good English and is opened for every advice you need, for where to go, what to see, etc. Rooms are wide and very clean, balconies are spacey and comfortable. The music in the hotel bar is very nice, and is not a thing to be afraid of for a good sleep. It is a pet friendly hotel, owners have their own dog who is well taking care of a place. In front of Dias is a big church near the beach, whose bells are always a wake up call at 8 am wright for the breakfast. Platamonas is in a very good position, Larissa and Katerini are close, and Neos Panteleimonas, a small town near the castle is a one you simply HAVE to visit. Try this place, it is very nice.
