“We booked the suite and the amount of space was very welcome, with a comfy seating area, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, a huge bathroom, with a massive bath. Most welcome after our days out walking. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The young man and young lady who waited in the dining room on the nights we ate there, where a credit to their employers. The food in the dining room was delicious. Not a vast choice of dishes, but the quality was excellent. There is a lovely old windmill in the grounds, just across from the hotel, attached to a pancake house. The food there was super too. Location of the hotel is very good, with a nice small town centre a short walk away. The bus stops just outside to hotel for Gouda and you can take the bus to the station for the train to Amsterdam.”
