“When I arrived, pass 3PM, the gentleman in the front desk asked me the same questions a million times, finally handed me the keys: NEITHER ONE WORKED! He "swiped them at the office, went upstairs with me and opened the door. The room faced A WALL, NO COFFEE OR COFFEE POT! The carpet had a horrible stench! It was late, I was tired so I went straight to bed, had breakfast at the restaurant. Told the cleaning staff "this carpet has never been either cleaned not changed! Same to the front desk man. I had my things with me already. I couldn't stay a minute longer in that filthy, ugly room. I checked out even though I was offered "another room," My answer: NO, THANK YOU! What a horrible experience! Called the place I usually stay: Chelsea Pub & Inn - walked up the block and was welcomed with open arms at that wonderful place, as usual, with open arms!”
“Amazing countryside escape for a romantic stay in the heart of south Iceland. Drive-able to geysers, volcanoes, waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches, horses, sheep... Staff is family owned and wonderfully kind and helpful. Amazing view of the sky (though it did rain or overcast our entire 3 days so NO Norther Lights for us) but probably AMAZING if the weather cooperated. No bothersome lights to prevent the view up above.”

“The location was perfect. Steps from the beach and boardwalk. Everything within walking distance. Valet parking was a plus, especially since we arrived extremely late. Overall size of the room was good. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant on the property was convenient.”
“The room was amazing, we had a view on the ocean, something unbelievable :) It also was very clean, we were provided with cosmetics everyday (good quality). There was a nice restaurant downstairs, where we could eat breakfast and lunch (its open until 3 pm). The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.”
“We liked that it was directly across the street from our favorite casino. Everything was within walking distance and we loved that we had a balcony because both of us smoke and of course the room was non smoking but we could smoke on the balcony which was wonderful.”
