“Location was good - within the city walls. Breakfast, Chinese, was also included. The hotel was quiet. Overall for what we paid - which was very little - this was an okay hotel to stay in.”

“The location is very good, there was a restaurant on site for evening meals with a picture menu and the breakfast was very good. The restaurant staff are very welcoming and friendly and made huge efforts to communicate with us as best they could (the front desk could take a leaf out of their book!). The hotel is excellent value for money. The rooms are of a good size and the bath and shower facilities were very good. We had a comfortable stay here.”
“Good hotel in the heart of Datong, next to the newly build old town and it's shops and restaurants. "Nine Dragon Screen" is also just one block away. Weird but interesting "Chinese Sculpture Museum" is also quite close. The staff didn't speak much English but whenever we had a problem, they would phone some man who did. The breakfast was quite nice also.”

“酒店就在古城华严寺和九龙壁对面，临步行街。从火车站打的过来很近。酒店早餐超级棒！估计全国酒店早餐数一数二。早餐咖啡，茶，牛奶，果汁，6种冷菜，4种咸菜，三种稀饭，9种热菜，3种中式点心，2种西式点心，3种水果，刀削面，6种荤素浇头。出门坐38公交路再倒个车就能到云冈石窟。酒店可以参加一日游到悬空寺，木塔，恒山，云岗石窟，自由搭配，价格合理，导游素质高，不进店。晚餐可以去装潢一流的《凤临阁》，步行3分钟。也可以步行到《老大同饭庄》口味比凤临阁要好多倍。晚间可以步行几分钟上全国最大夜景最美的城墙(免票)。”

“Bestes Frühstücksbuffet, das wir in China gesehen haben. Alle was das westliche oder chinesische Herz begehrt und super günstig für 14 RMB dazu zu buchen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und schön ausgestattet, der Service top. Auch das Restaurant unten im Hotel hatte sehr gutes und nicht zu teures Essen. Die Damen an der Rezeption waren sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, auch wenn sie nicht viel Englisch sprachen. In der Lobby gibt es auch einen Geldautomaten, der internationale Karten akzeptiert.”
