“Above and well beyond service that felt personal. Like having my own butler. They couldn’t have been sweeter. The suite is incredible - huge and beautiful. The whole hotel is very tasteful.”
“DPavilion exceeded our expectations in every way. We engaged a driver via the hotel as Colombo relies upon car travel particularly as the traffic is horrendous and the infrastructure is poor for a city that is growing and has a population of 6 million and increasing. Our driver was introduced by the hotel, he spoke perfect English and was a competent driver.”
“The suite we stayed in was amazing. Really well decorated and furnished with jacuzzi bath. Staff were friendly and really helpful and could offer lots of advised and travel plans. Breakfast was great. The swimming pool is beautiful as is the rest of the hotel. Great selection of tea on sale. The hotel is owned by Dilshan so there are some great memorabilia on the walls.”
“picturesque hotel with great staff. The people are great in service and it's a nice small hotel. It's like a small get away in Colombo city.”
“Gorgeous hotel and courtyard pool. Beautifully decorated. Interesting cricket memorabilia. Very hospitable and friendly staff.”
“The most wonderful staff. The best we have come across. Nothing too much trouble and very friendly. Great swimming pool and character building. A real oasis away from the noise of the city. We can't speak too highly of this hotel. Have already decided to return to the hotel at the end of our travels in Sri Lanka before we fly out to the Maldives.”
“Very helpful staff. Met Dilshan (the owner and cricketer) while I was there. Seems like a decent chap. The hotel was clean and very well kept. The furniture and the art work was impressive and there was attention to detail.”
“Alles was goed. Decor, rust, modern, ruimte en vriendelijkheid”
“A stylish small hotel owned by legendary Sri Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne Dilshan. The local breakfast was great, and the service was excellent. The wonderful staff even helped us when we returned to Colombo to try to get a connecting train down south, and we weren't even staying with them. First class.”
“Very charming hotel, quiet in the madness of Colombo. Lots of leafy trees and a cute courtyard with steps leading upto the main reception. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked lovely. Very large sized rooms, and a super comfortable bed. Also, loved the mosquito netting though I am not sure we should have needed it in the first place? Gigantic bathrooms too! The staff is very nice and well-meaning. We had a very early 6am check-in (paid) and a member of the staff was there right on time to make sure we were taken care of. Through our short stay of a day, they were very helpful, arranging for tuk tuk rides with a trusted driver and so on.”
