“This is the 4th time I've stayed at this hotel. The staff are amazing. I had called a day earlier to my arrival and asked if I could have early check in. The woman on the phone said they would do their best to make that happen. Once I arrived around 11:15 am, the woman at the counter tried everything she could to get me a room right away. She said they could likely have a room available in 45 to an hour. I waited in the lobby and a room was ready in 30 minutes. While I waited they offered me a free snack; a nice touch. When I came down later to head out to my meeting, they asked if everything with my room was okay. They then gave me a coupon for free breakfast the next morning. Again, a very nice touch and gesture. I travel to VA Beach for work 2-3x/year and this will always be my 1st choice of accommodations.”

“I liked this place, but I am not sure why it's considered a four star. Staff was very nice. Breakfast on Saturday was understaffed, so two people were just running around, that could have been dealt with better. The food was good, there is a buffet, and you can order the usual breakfast fare along with eggs of your liking. I liked it, but not sure if I would stay again. The room itself was OK but needs some renovating overall. I am happy with the price I paid, but at higher price points, it would be a no.”
