“Ticks all the basic boxes with spacious rooms, but make sure the pricing reflects the fact that this hotel is a bit tired. You are paying for location. Most areas smell of stale cigarettes, including the rooms - it's so disgusting to be on a non-smoking floor and have to deal with locals smoking in the elevator areas. Reception looks like Doctor Who's TARDIS control centre from 1983. However, overall safe and secure with good access to the underground metro, so no major complaints. The shopping centre diagonally opposite the hotel has a very good range of food options (if you want to avoid fried insects and hotpot).”
