“Lovely hotel in a rural area. Owners very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Rooms are really nice and they provide an excellent breakfast. Adjoining restaurant also very good with really friendly staff and excellent range of food and drink (including a variety of local beers on draft). We make a point of staying here when visiting the area.”
“Time travel a decade or so back. Sleepy little semi-rural hamlet with older style coach house feel. Room adequate and comfortable. Slept well but may be a little stuffy in very hot weather due lack of aircon. Can leave windows open which have insect screens. Breakfast selection good. Main meals authentic, delicious and modestly priced. Lovely old balcony seating for meals [in addition to dining room] or maybe cool off with a beer or two. Quaint little church only a short walk up hill opposite.....bells every quarter hour and chimes on the hour.”
