“Great views of Sister Bay from up on the bluff. Very convenient to the Sister Bay shops and restaurants. Being off the beaten path of Route 42, this hotel is very quiet as well. They will accommodate dogs; this will factor into our next visit as we want to bring our Black Lab along. Well maintained grounds, too. While we were there in early November, it appeared that this would be a great location in the summer as well. Places for kids to run around. They have a small pool too.”
“The first thing that struck us was the cleanliness of the room. No odors, no smoke, nor animal smells. It was warm, well apportioned, and had a beautiful view of the lake. We had been worried that though they advertised "lake view" it might be a corner, or a side-out partial. No such thing. Though the venue was booked solid, our room boasted a gorgeous full view of the lake. Breakfast, in the mornings, was excellent, and fresh. Though it runs from 7ish to 10ish, you'll want to get there a wee bit early, because food runs out. Parking was excellent, and within 75 feet of our door. Hot tub was a nice plus, and although it was raining, and cold, it was a welcome relief, after the walking we'd been doing all day. Staff was friendly, very helpful in finding places to visit, and more than willing to take time for our questions (even drawing us a map of eateries within town). Can't say enough about the Country House. We'll definitely be back.”
