“Loved the outdoor restaurant area;-beautiful & welcoming. Loved the oudoor bar & seating area. The wrap around veranda was exquisite & remincent of old victorian architecture. Couldn't beat the central location with super easy access to everything in the historic area. Easy walking to inexpensive public transportation. We saved boatloads of money using the train and buses to get around. We got in early & the hotel stored our luggage so we could tour about town before it was time to check in & the did let us check in earlier than usual.The staff, when you could find them, was very friendly & accommodating. Very clean. Loved the old fashioned feel ambience. Great happy hour deals! Loved this place & would return but would request on outer perimeter room. The shower was superb! Updated and spacious bathroom. Lovely antique furniture and clean hardwood floors.”
