“Given the terrible value for money that the Philippines offers the traveller the Corto Del Mar was exceptional. The air con was quiet and the facilities were excellent. The room was extremely clean and well set up. Wi-Fi is always a problem in the islands and the Wi-Fi offered here was no exception but it did kinda work in the reception area. Although it is in a rather poor residential area (as I guess the whole of Coron is) you didn't get assaulted by the noise of roosters or the smells in the rooms. Certainly five times better than the other place I stayed in Coron for only twice the price.”
