“Our room was not ready on time, we were told we could not eat in the bar only room service was available, we ordered room service, which never came!!!!, they had a party in the marquee which went on late, and when the party finished we had drunk youngsters to put up with!!!!!, not good enough, for what you pay to stay there. “What is there to say! Location and Building Superb. Reception, waiting and bar staff superb. Room and bathroom superb. My Fiancée really enjoyed her 50th Birthday there and she just could get over how amazing it all was. The evening meal and afternoon tea was second to none and it was just SUPERB!!! Will definitely be returning.”
“Spectacular building overall - obviously well restored. Room extremely comfortable and well furnished. Staff at reception and bar all extremely pleasant. Just had some bar supper - the scotch eggs and shrimp ( I know a curious couple of choices together but it was late!! ) were freshly prepared, very tasty and well presented.”
