“I was really surprised by the Clarks Inn Hotel! I arrived around 8 o‘clock sunday morning, so the room was not ready yet, but there was a delicious breakfast-buffet at hand, with coffee and newspapers. Then I started my first tour around Hampi. The Clarks Inn has the flair of a Grand Hotel... With a swimming-pool which is refreshing even if you don’t swim in it, but just look at it. Staff very friendly and helpful, dinner at the restaurant as well with a rich choice of food. The Hotel is just opposite the Archaelogical Museum which is well kept and offers extraordinary exhibits.”

“Clean, comfy bed, good size, full selection of TV channels, nice shower, excellent food on room service, very reasonable prices considering how much some poor guesthouses in hampi cost. The location is about 100 rupee rickshaw ride to hampi bazar (where restaurants are) this could be seen as a positive or negative. ”
“Exceptionally attentive staff, clean environment, wonderful rooms, great beds and pillows, AC's that work a treat, and wonderfully relaxing bathrooms and toilets. There is even a pool for those inclined that way. We stayed four nights, and ate at the restaurant almost exclusively. Wonderful food. They even cooked a dish a second time round when we commented it hadn't quite come out as it did on an earlier occasion! This is the only hotel so close to the Royal Enclosure. Still it is hard to walk over to Royal Enclosure end of Hampi due to the heat during the day.”
“Clean comfortable modern hotel in a perfect location to access the UNESCO site. Really helpful staff and a surprisingly good restaurant. We arrived at 08.00 and they ushered us into the breakfast room while they got a room ready for us. No extra charge for the early check in. The restaurant was good and the food actually rather good.”
