“I did not have high expectations and booked it at the last minute simply because it's near the university - but on every front it was as good if not better than equivalent hotels I use in W European cities. Just off a buzzy street, 2 mins from a grocery store and multiple coffee houses, 10 minutes from Red Square, 3 minutes from the subway. Internet fast - streaming Netflix no problem. Room impeccable. Staff very helpful with good English. Booked taxi for me at good price. Quiet at night. NB no lift, just in case you have mobility problems, but the flights of stairs are short, and I've no doubt they'd help carry bags. And extraordinarily cheap, by (my) UK/USA/European standards.”
