“The friendliest, most helpful, staff ever. From looking after tickets (for the Confederations Cup football) sent by post from New Zealand before we arrived to helping with taxis and excursions, the charming staff did their best to help at all times. Lovely pool (which we had almost to ourselves), quiet and comfy room with a small balcony that looked over the river, great shower, decent breakfast spread, nice little bar area. There are umpteen bars and restaurants within walking distance - cheap and cheerful places on the Citrus side of the river, slightly more upmarket over the bridge. The Adler/Sochi region sprawls on for around 30 miles and can be a little daunting to navigate. The staff at the Citrus did their very best to help us find our feet. The free airport shuttle was invaluable, as was the inexpensive laundry service.”

“The Airport pick up was lovely with friendly and helpful driver , really doing his best to make us feel welcome. Our plane was delayed and he had made us relax and set or mind at our holiday instead of worring about the time he had to wait at airport for us. Got good tips on where to eat and must see part of the area. Reception also lived up to expectation throughout our stay. One of the ladies called Julia even helped to plan our onward journey. One of th days we rented hotel bikes at very fair price to cycle around the olympic village which was great fun. Location is right by the river and we enjoyed our walks down the beach. It's easy to get food around the hotel but would recommend to book with Breakfast as it's worth every penny plus you get special meal. We stayed one day extra and would certainly come again, may be in winter to use their trips to Krasnaya Paljana which sounded fun for skiing and hiking..”
