“Solid play for a budget property. Location is a good match between the river, metro and bar street leaving plenty of options for guests. Maan Coffee shop at the end of the block is top notch. Staff spoke enough English to take care of me and the room was fine. Certainly not luxury, but solid for the price.”
“Location super close to Line 3 xiannamen station. Exit the station, turn left and walk down road parallel to river. 2 minutes down the road you are there. There are small typical hole in the wall eateries on this street, as well as fancy coffee down at opposite end. Facilities are pretty basic and get the job done. Not the type of place to spend hours relaxing in. But you're in Chengdu, go see pandas instead! ”

“Previously reviewed hotel; we extended our stay by 2 days. Walk out of the hotel to the street parallel to the river, turn right, heading towards the bus station. Walk across the major street intersection to the ABC bank (ATM's available). Turn right, walking away from the river. At the first street (Zhimin), turn left. Walk down a couple of blocks, on the right side (walking away from the bus station), there are some nice restaurants. The large restaurant with the "1 table wide" outside dining area on a raised platform we particularly enjoyed.”

“Location location location! Great spot close to many sights, the tourist bus station to see sights outside of Chengdu, and the metro which will take you to other sights around the city. If you arrive in the airport, don't bother getting a taxi. Take metro to xinnamen station and it's maybe 200 yards/meters away. The beds are comfortable with good sheets. Hot showers and western toilets. Would stay here again if it weren't for all of the smoke :( - Happy Nomad Couple”
