“This place is amazing; a unique experience. Stay here if you can. It's really handy for visiting the sights of Kutna Hora which are excellent, so there's no excuse for not adding it to your itinerary. The combination of hotel and art gallery works seamlessly, and the longer we stayed the more we loved it. The chateau has been brought back from a ruin, (the entrance nods to that - we thought we'd turned up in the wrong place to start with!) and you can only admire what the owners have done with the place.”

“Our experiences of hotels in the Czech Republic once you venture outside Prague have been pretty poor to date. Very pleased to say this place is a refreshing change. The location is beautiful ,as well as somewhat usual given the very interesting pieces of art both inside and within the gardens of the Chateau. Each room is has a different theme, we were shown a couple of these by our hosts and they all look amazing. The staff were extremely helpful, taking the time to show us around. Special thanks to Roberto who really made us feel at home. We had the dinner in the evening, which they cooked a special vegetarian meal for us at short notice, which was totally delicious. A wonderful place that we will return to as soon as we can.”

“This is such a beautiful place to stay. The chateau itself has been shown a great deal of care by its owner through maintenance and design. The property which the chateau is located is also quite large and beautiful. There is even a moat that goes around the chateau itself. This trip marked the first anniversary for me and my wife and we couldn't think of a more romantic getaway. We first stayed here 5 years ago and it was as lovely as we remembered it. We arranged to have a 3 course home-cooked Italian dinner and it was fantastic and good value. The service was superb throughout our stay and it's very easy to reach the chateau from Prague by train. I highly recommend staying here for it's charm especially if you're travelling with your partner. We hope to come back soon!”

“The property is incredible! The deluxe suites are rooms of the library which itself is sizable and relaxing. The castle and grounds are full of art and gardens and overall, is an amazing place to stay and relax. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and I'd recommend to anyone wanting more than just a hotel room. ”
