“Staying at Chateau De Picomtal is like walking into a fairytale!! The castle itself is amazing and beautifully and carefulle restored by the owners and they've stayed true to its history. The rooms are fantastic with views of either the garden, courtyard or the lake and the surrounding mountains. The owners are simply fantastic and super friendly to all the guests! This was our third visit and they took the time (as they've always done) to sit down and talk to us :-) We always feel very welcome here - and it's all because of the hostpitality of the owners. You can take your own tour inside and outside the castle - which is an amazing journey in itself :-) The breakfast is fantastic!! This is by far the most amazing place we've had the pleasure of staying! We will come back! Great Wifi!”

“As long as you like staying in a place which is a piece of history, with gorgeous grounds, amazing rooms and charming and helpful hosts, you'll like this chateau (and who wouldn't?). Don't come here if you want slick and modern. Jacques, Sharon and Chloe provided everything we needed, recommended a good place for a snack on our first night, where to swim and where to go for a lovely meal on the second night. The garden is fantastic, what a place to sit and knit in the evening sun. Something that I found really handy is a small kitchen for use of the guests.”
