What guests loved the most

“The property was wonderful. It exceeded our expectations in every and was a very memorable part of our trip.”

, USA

“This is a really beautiful hotel. We arrived by car and was able to park outside in the onsite parking area. Check in was easy and we were shown to our room. The room was really nice with a bedroom and seperate room for relaxing. Great view of the old chateau and country side. We were only there two nights and one full day which we spent driving to nearby towns. The local town is about two kilometres away and has a supermarket if required. If we had stayed onsite there was bikes to ride and local walking. Breakfast was nice. A good experience.”

, Australia

“Lovely room, beautiful property, and very lavish evening meal”

, United Kingdom

“Beautiful setting next to the ruined castle. First class restaurant (pre-booking essential). Lovely jogging route through the forest. Classical French Chateau accommodation. ”

, United Kingdom

“We brought our bikes and two dogs. Loved the opportunity to explore the countryside; the onsite ruins, the WW1 cemetery, small lakes and a village a few km away.”

, Netherlands

“You'll feel like you're a princess in a palace. Yes, the place looks like it hasn't been updated since the 70s but that is totally the charm here. Getting to wander around the ruins and have sunset champagne on the terrace rates a 10 on the wow factor. And if you like to horseback ride, there's a great stable nearby.”

, Canada

“The very nice views around the hotel and the castle ”

, Saudi Arabia

“Hotel is like a Fairy Tale. Beautiful, large suite with nice amenities and great view. Ruins next door are interesting and easily accessible. Staff was very nice and helpful. Grounds were very beautiful with many nice places to walk or enjoy a glass of wine.”
