“The location was great and we were made welcome on our arrival. The parking was close by. The rooms were full of character.”
“The hotel was fantastic all old and wonky as its 800 years old!! Good central location. Staff were excellent and the food was wonderful. The rooms were spotless and the beds and linen were all very comfy. Booked for two nights but wanted to stay longer.”
“Really good breakfast, friendly staff”
“Bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Breakfast was ordered from a menu. I ordered boiled eggs and they were hard boiled which I was not expecting. It was quite popular with local people eating at the restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch and evening meal there.”
“Good choice of breakfast . Selection of different cooked breakfast . Food hot and good presentation. Meal in the evening in restaurant was very good and good price. Staff helpful with bags to are room.”
“Recommend you stay here it was great .Couldnt do enough for us.”
“Twin beds were comfy. Bathroom was new with good shower. Separate loo. Great breakfast and welcoming staff. Old building with uneven creaky floors.”
“Great Location, fantastic dinner, can't fault the staff and service. Very comfortable room. Would stay again.”
“Good beds, Excellent breakfast. Good restaurant. Obliging and efficient staff”
“Can't speak highly enough about The Chapter House. Check in was a breeze, our room was spectacular, beautiful and comfortable, and both the bath and shower were the best of any hotel we've stayed at. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch and breakfast. We found everyone to be friendly and welcoming and the only downside was that we had to go home! It was the perfect place for a romantic break from London. The building is very old and has the expected narrow hallways, wonky stairs and creaky floors. It makes it absolutely charming but is something to keep in mind if you have limited mobility. Maybe ask for a lower ground room. But stay there. And eat there. You'll be very happy you did!”
