“Bed comfy, staff friendly and helpful, location amazing. Sausages on request for the K9 at evening meal, pet welcome in the lounge area during meals.”
“Really good choice for breakfast and the chef was happy to provide the combination to suit each guest . Good filter coffee provided. All the staff made one feel that you were valued and not just doing their job. The housekeeping was also excellent and the bedrooms provided with good quality shampoo etc.”
“All the staff were friendly and helpful and the table service was prompt and efficient. The food was varied, well cooked and always hot and waiting time was short. The river view from both our room and the dining room and sitting areas was wonderful - and the steam train going past was an extra bonus. The covered way into reception is lovely with the variety of plants and it is always clean and well swept. There are a variety of sitting areas if you want to sit with a drink or book and it must be lovely in the Spring and Summer to use the outside sitting areas and balconies. The location is great for exploring the area and we will definitely be returning.”
