“Stayed in the Traverse room: 55m2, really nice with an amazing view south and south/east. Bed was comfortable, with couch. Amazing sweet and helpful staff. Great breakfast, really quiet. The castle by itself is really nice. Non-smoking”
“Beautiful setting for a relaxing break. The bed was super-comfortable and the evening meal was extremely good. Gorgeous views over the lake!”
“Everything! Fantastic location...incredible Chateau...beautifully renovated with an amazing history. Owner, manager and staff are wonderful people. All so helpful, positive and engaging. Evening meal superb - a truly talented chef. Both adults & kids loved this special place.”
“Amazing original fortified chateaux in an incredible setting. Dining room, breakfast room and terrace we're very special as was the impressive meal which was delicious and beautifully presented (clearly on its way to a Michelin star). Check out the nearby Chateau de la Mar vineyard nearby too!”
“Amazing place, super attentive staff, beautiful rooms and great food in the restaurant. We'll be back next year when the pool will be done!”
“The views from our room were spectacular, the beds extremely comfortable and the adjoining room for our daughter was magical; a castle bunk bed, dressing up cupboard, games etc. The staff were extremely helpful and we were well looked after.”
“Views and setting fabulous. Modern, thoughtful and comfortable room design. Friendly, helpful staff.”
“Amazing place! Amazing food and super confortable beds!”
“The hotel style was above the normal, done with flare and imagination. Top chef producing great food. Whole team were friendly and helpful at all times.”
“Wonderful and peaceful location right over the lake, across from the spa town Aix-Les-Bains. Big dramatic chateau, quite spectacular to pull into in the evening. Very friendly staff. Rooms large, airy and imaginatively decorated. It just felt peaceful and relaxing just to be there. We chose the location as close enough via motorway to the Lyon airport to overnight and make our flight the next morning with no problems at all, but next time we would stay at least a couple of days longer.”
