“Hotel Castillo Medieval is a jewel. From the moment our host greeted us in flowing medieval attire and we climbed the stairs in the round turret to the office, we felt transported to the days of King Arthur. An unbelievably delightful experience. Everything is decorated in medieval style. There is even a catapult and some cannons. The only thing missing is the moat . The staff all wear lovely medieval costumes and are extremely friendly and accommodating. A bountiful breakfast is served each morning befitting of King Arthur. The rooms are inviting and nicely decorated and the beds very comfortable. One night the owner graciously treated us to a bottle of delicious red wine and our host ordered sushi for us which we ate in our own private turret. We could only stay 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer in this quiet and charming place. A visit to Valparaiso or Vino del Mar would lacking without at least a couple nights at Castillo Medieval.”
