“It was sort of a coincidence that we ended up in this magical place, sadly for one night only. The place itself is incredibly beautiful, and it has been renovated with a lot of taste and delicacy. The quality of the bed is probably one of the best I have ever experienced in a hotel (and I sleep in hotels a lot). The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. We were one hour late for the breakfast, only to be greeted with a smile and kindness. We were almost two hours late with checking-out (spending time on internet dealing with an urgent situation), again, nothing but kindness came from the staff. The dinner the cook made especially for us (we are vegans and the cook was in midst of preparing everything for the New Year's eve then next day and 80 guests that were to come) was excellent, obviously prepared with love and care. The only thing we did not like was to have to move on and not be able to spend a week there. Hopefully we will return some day.”
