“It is a house run by some nuns, but it is very comfortable, simple and with a parking in case you have your own car or you rent one. San Giovanni, the neighbourhood where the hotel is, has many restaurants and good connections ("metro A"). The staff, who also speaks Spanish, is very kind and helpful.”
“The staff although didn't speak any English tried to help. Rooms were clean”
“Secure parking. Comfortable. Clean. Good location. Quiet residential area.”
“Very quiet and peaceful location with very pleasant vicinity. Near metro and the beautiful Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano.”
“Excellent place to stay in Rome for those who come by car. Free parking onsite. As a matter of fact it is situated in the centre of Rome, close to S. Giovanni in Laterano. You can reach most of the best and important places in the historic centre by foot in half-one hour. Rooms are very clean, with air-condition. Breakfast was rather poor comparing with hotels, but it was enough for us and was valid of the price of the room. We knew what to expect.”
“I didn't realize it was like a catholic monastery thing. But everything was OK and the personel was nice, despite not speaking English.”
“staff was good and helpful, cleaning was good, location is safe and reachable from every places.”
“The staff, despite not having any English, were very helpful and friendly. Having access to a breakfast room was a bonus.”
“We got a Spacious room on the ground floor. We had a language barrier but the sisters were very helpful none the less. Nice location we walked to the Colosseum, Trevi, Pantheon and many other places (we are quite athletic). Took the metro to the Vatican. Try the restaurant Sa Posada which is nearby, serves some delicious Sea food.”
“- there is a traditional market at only 3 minutes of walking from where you can buy cheese in all types and smoked meat or fruits and vegetables - the Metro (red line) is 5 minutes of walking, direct connection, only 3 station to Termini - you can arrive at any hour during the night, you just have to ring the bell and somebody will open the door - the bed was very comfortable and my room had a view to their beautiful inside garden - at my special request they've provided me a gluten free breakfast: biscuits, muffins, fruits, coffee, tea and for others they have milk, cereals, bread and butter, jam and honey - friendly staff, and yes, they are all nuns :) - there is good free WiFi everywhere - although I was there in May they started the heat during the fists 2 nights, when the temperatures outside where under 15°C - in the morning, after 9 AM there was somebody playing at the piano”
