“The owner, manager and the staff worked very hard to give us a pleasant stay. The hotel is beautiful, the neighborhood lovely. But the nicest part was the owner's help in getting flights out after we missed our connection. We are indebted to him.”
“The hotel has a funky, antique and art laden atmosphere which is unique and enjoyable. For examples: admire the 14 foot high ceilings, the modern paintings on the walls. It is a work in progress as the owners were still in the process of acquiring even more distinctive lamps, etc., while we were there. The staff are all friendly and proficient in English; some are fully fluent. If you want, you can make contact with other guests at the boutique bar in the hotel. We got a thorough introduction to the attractions and restaurants in Barranco from one of the owners. The location is perfect for stepping out for a meal or to visit a Barranco bar or music venue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
“The old house is full of charm, artwork and weird and wonderful bits and pieces. The dining room and bar area are beautiful. There are chandeliers and painted sky ceilings. The hotel's manager speaks excellent English and is quite a character.”
