“The hotel was moderately priced and centrally located. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent - the bathroom was very clean, even common areas appeared to be cleaned often. The housekeeping staff was positive and thorough. Capital Plaza was just steps from the Capital building of VT in Montpelier and on the same street as many restaurants and shops. The hotel building also boasts and award winning restaurant that is not as expensive as would be expected for the quality. The backdrop of the mountains is VT are quite nice and the drive to Montpelier was breathtaking at times. The hotel recently redid a small workout room that had clean and versatile equipment of a high quality. I will be returning for the next 4 years due to a son attending Norwich University and will continue to book at this hotel. You can safely run in this city.”
