“Village location, lovely garden, comfy bed, and lovely pool A selling point is its location in a charming village with the necessary facilities - several passable restaurants, cafes, shop, and bakery. Room great, aircon, no comfy chair, bathroom fine, we also had a nice private terrace with table and metal chairs. Staff were all very helpful, especially the gardener who doubled as early morning room tea service. We were grateful when the helpful receptionist provided us with a kettle to make tea.”
“The hotel was beautiful, very tranquil. The courtyard where we had breakfast was stunning, pool excellent, clean & peaceful. Our room had no view but was large, comfy bed, lovely bathroom, plenty of storage space. Breakfast were continental & delicious- plenty to choose from (fresh fruit, cereals, cheese, meats, croissants, pastries, fresh orange juice etc) All staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights (spent another 7 days on the island elsewhere). I would recommend emailing the hotel if you need a car parking space - the hotel have a limited number reserved in the nearby carpark for hotel residents 7 Euros per day. If not you have to pay each day between 9am-1pm and again from 3pm to 8pm, or you can buy a pass (any number of days) from the local council building. We would definitely go again.”

“Can Verdera is in a beautiful mountain village with astounding views from the property. We began each day with breakfast in the shaded courtyard, hiked all day on an excellent system of trails, came back in the late afternoon to lounge at the pool and terrace bar, and then sauntered down the street to a great selection of restaurants. Pure heaven for five days!”
