“From the outset we were overwhelmed by this property. We have used the hotel for unusual circumstances in that we needed long term accommodation while my stepson was seriously ill in hospital. Often returning at night tired, worried and distressed. The comfort, warmth and friendliness of everyone at the hotel (with the help of Jamie’s wonderful G&T’s) soothed the troubles of the day and set us up for the day following. The breakfasts are probably the best we have ever had in an hotel and the decor is nearly all new; comfortable very tasteful. I will be there again next week! Location for beach and promenade perfect. Southend shopping centre within walking distance even for me otherwise the bus stops almost outside.”
