“The pool and it's view us outstanding. Calma is located 10 minutes drive (it is unsafe to walk during the night) from Ubud centre. They offer three free shuttle service both ways on fixed times. On request with additional costs other times are possible. Local taxi is especially in Ubud centre hard to get at a reasonable price.”

“Loved Calma, the decor was gorgeous, the setting beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The pool is lovely , the food is great , if you want to stay in and chill you can eat there which is handy, the spa and massage was divine. I had a night time massage , it was amazing down amongst the sounds of the jungle ! The staff are all friendly and helpful. My friends stayed in the junior suite and I was in the Deluxe suite, both were lovely, private ,I highly recommend this villa. It is a good 15 min walk down into the town part but easy if you have a motorbike. We negotiated taxis back at $5. The lovely Kedek (male) took me on a motorbike ride on my last day as I really wanted to go on the back for a cruise around. And the other lovely front of house staff Kedek( female) organised anything for us and Gede also very friendly and helpful. Hopefully I will return with my husband next time.”

“Beautiful location, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, food was outstanding, location far away from the madness of the main street of Ubud and very easy to organise transport into town, the staff help with booking tours etc and it was such a beautiful location and the rooms very clean and beautiful, I would definitely stay here again.”

“Everything. Calma Ubud is a calm and peaceful oasis, just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud centre. The centre is easy to reach by taxi or the free shuttle that the hotel offers. You can also walk but it gets rather hot and the driving is a little precarious! Still, the location is good. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good A/C and wifi. The restaurant serves amazing food at a good price. The service in the restaurant is excellent. Staff are all really friendly and willing to do all they can to please. My boyfriend and I also had massages which were so relaxing - the spa area is set right next to the paddies and all you can hear are the nature sounds around you! The infinity swimming pool offers up a great view of the rice paddies beyond and is very relaxing as well. This is an amazing hotel, one of my favourite in Bali, and I didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend staying here.”
