“Overall, an old-fashioned ambiance with a reading-room / library particularly reminiscent of a movie set ; breakfast room, too, evoked a ' bygone period' feel with pleasant sea-views, good menu choices and efficient service - be careful of room rate, though ; breakfast was an additional € 14.50 charge to the relatively high 'room only' rate. Fresh fish menu at the 'Fisherman's Bar' is well-recommended, too. Sea-facing , comfortable and modernly-appointed bedroom ( 207 ) was efficiently sound-proofed and had a standard-width and comfortable double-bed but no 'black-out' lining on curtains - external street-lighting was resultingly obtrusive ; bring your own eye-covers to ensure untroubled sleep !”
