“The hotel itself is in an excellent location, had a cool funky vibe, extremely friendly staff and has a lively downstairs bar and restaurant (although I did not try the food). I booked a dinky room and although it was perfect for one night and very comfortable, it is a bit too small for two people and also a little overpriced for the space involved. Having said that my experience was very good and overall the convenience of the location, breakfast bag and the attitude and helpful nature of the fantastic staff elevates this place.”

“Loved the breakfast on the go bag left on your door. Location is superb. Laughed every time I took the lift ( you have to experience that yourself ) Brilliant coffee, best latte in the city centre. Staff are very friendly & genuinely interested in their guests & their plans. Went out of their way to help. Excellent power shower in the room. Free fast wi-fi ! ( Did not use their roof or Balltic bar but they looked amazing)”
“Short business trip. Every expectation was surpassed. I was warned the 'dinky' room was small, however, I have stayed in much smaller similarly advertised room in central London. Great bed, wonderful service, and bonus breakfast that I enjoyed on my train journey home. I checked out at 6.15am and must say the staff was alert and cheery. I'll be back.”
