“Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Buildings are arranged around a grassy square. Ours was a spacious and comfortable apartment in a cottage opposite the old manor house. Lovely and private outlook over fields from bright and sunny southeast facing living room and deck just outside. The decor wasn't completely uptodate but that added to the charm and made it very good value. Plenty of space for four adults. Two singles or double bed plus sofa, two armchairs, TV and chest in living room. Double in separate bedroom. Separate kitchen and bathroom. All four rooms open off spacious hallway). Lovely and warm with underfloor heating in the hall. Had we stayed longer we would have gone for a walk and had it been warmer we would have had a dip in the pond and/or hot tub. Will definitely return if we are in the area again and the prices are similar.”
