“It is a lovely small boutique hotel. Beautifully situated in a quiet valley with enchanting hillside and woodland gardens leading down to the babbling river at the foot of the valley. The scuplture and art trail was really atmospheric in the grounds and a relaxing, short walk after a lovely breakfast, before heading on out to explore the lovely region of North Devon. Perfectly situated between Barnstaple, Croyde, Woolacombe. I hope to be back providing this review does'nt lead to complete sell outs of availability! :-)”

“Food was was stunning to look at and to eat. Location and sculpture garden made this one of the most interesting places we had stayed in.”
“Quirky, relaxed, comfortable and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. It was like staying with friends. You are in the countryside but Barnstaple is only just up the road. The only down side was the size of the sausage at breakfast. Might be alright when it grows up! Will definitely stay there again. Great!”
