“When the staff finally got their heads around the fact that I was taking my father to dinner for his 85th - a waiter did stick a candle in a piece of gateau - so he did at least try! One receptionist [Paul] was pleasant.”
“Very pleasant staff - except for the duty manager. The room - a suite- was large as was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The entertainment in the night club was first rate and you are hard put to beat this club for what it gives you. Parking is ample and monitored.”
“Room The decor in the room was a little shabby. But the room smelt nice enough. The carpet looked a bit dirty and the wallpaper on the walls looked a bit shabby. Bathroom Shower was good, hot water and clean enough (if I am being really picky, the toilet roll looked like it had been dropped an was dirty from the bottom) - I just took the spare loo roll so not the end of the world Location My room looked out on the a stream/river. the grounds and surrounding areas looked lovely, but because I arrived in the dark and left at 8am I didn't get a good chance to appreciate it Breakfast A little disappointed with breakfast. I only had hash browns beans and mushrooms. I arrive about 7.45 and all tasted a little dry (like it had been sitting there a while). It was fairly quiet and I didn't get disturbed in the night so slept fairly well and the bed was comfortable.”
“It was a nice place - perhaps in need of decoration but nevertheless nice - it failed more for me on service - nobody greeted me in the morning or indeed each time I passed the reception there was not an acknowledgement - at lunch - the staff begins bar were lacking in smile or indeed an acknowledgement also ...”
