“Although a little removed from the A9 Autobahn, Eichstatt and Braugasthof Trompette were attractive for us on our home travel from Austria. Good value rooms, extensive breakfast, and kitchen was open until 22:00 h so we had a nice Bavarian dinner after a day of skiing and a late afternoon return (4 hours drive from Austria). The Gasthof has locally brewed beer which is great!”
