“This hotel is in a superb location on the lakeside, under the castle & right next to the boat landing stage. However, unless you are on a walking holiday, you need a car as it is a walk up a steep hill to the train station & the buses don't run until the afternoon. Spiez is a lovely little town, in a beautiful positon & surrounded by vinyards, yes vinyards. The bedroom was of modern design with all the necessities. My room even had a lake view. The Italian restaurant was excellent & gave good portions, but it was expensive, but it is Switzerland. Spiez is a good centre, 20 mins from Interlaken,40 from Bern. The hotel is very nice, but I feel that they have missed a trick or two with its location. Would I stay there again - yes.”

“The location is just right beside the lake, you can enjoy the lake view in the restaurant. The room are face to the lake as well, high ceiling and simple & modern decorations makes you comfortable. Clean & tidy. The breakfast is big, with fruits, salmons, eggs, coffees and etc. other food in restaurants are also delicious and look great! Also you can drive in and park your car near the front door. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Cheap prices!!”
