“Hands down the most delightful staff we've experienced in many months of travel. Mrs. was very attentive to all our needs (including vegetarian son). Mr. drove us into town last minute to catch the bus north and our lovely cook was happy to provide all we needed. The beds were by far most comfortable we've had in a long time. I highly recommended using the Safari drivers she arranged prices were very fair, the trucks super comfortable and the drivers english was solid, but spotting skills superb! Both Yala and Bundala NP are about 30-40 min from the property. 2500 year old Stupa easy walking distance through rice fields The property is a highlight, Peacocks everywhere. Waterfowl galore and a croc was nosing around about 200 meters down the road.”
“Very homely and clean stay with a lovely, relaxing and quiet environment. Beautiful native birds and natural scenery surrounding the place. The couple that own the hotel are very hospitable and kind who will go out their way to make you feel comfortable. The place is not far from the famous animal park 'Yala'. They also have great, traditional Sri Lankan dishes that are delicious. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to stay in a quiet, homely and affordable place.”
