“The room was large and comfortable with homely older feature furniture. Our room was very quiet even though it overlooked the street. The restaurant had good meals at a reasonable price and the complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. All and all a good experience.”
“After a long Vancouver to Quesnel drive, this was the perfect place to spend two days - one of which was in the highly recommended nearby Barkerville. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about local interests. I'm not a fan of casinos, so I bypassed this portion of the establishment. Given however that you are in historic gold rush territory here, it is a fun and reasonable addition to the overall experience. The short walk to the beautiful riverside park and walkway makes for a very pleasant post-dinner stroll.”
“What a lovely place to stay. Everyone was wonderful. The key card system wasn't working so we were given vouchers for the restaurant which was lovely. We had to be escorted to our room but that wasn't a problem.”
