“not enough information regarding the fact there is no bar. allowed to bring your own drinks but try finding any in the vicinity. I tried to cancel this hotel and was not allowed to although I had only booked 30 minutes earlier.”

“Very comfortable property and helpful friendly staff. The hotel has a lovely view across St Brelade's Bay and its own path with steps down to the promenade and beach (worth noting that some building development is about to take place further along the prom). For the fit and able there is a footpath across to Ouaisne, the next bay - both have lovely golden sands. There's a bus stop outside and it's only a short way to St Helier, or in the other direction to the north coast. The hotel, meals are excellent and quite substantial. Plenty of entertainment also, for those who want it.”

“The meals were lovely with a choice of 4 tasty main courses; fish, red meat, white meat or vegetarian. It was "proper" food rather than overly fancy which absolutely suited our taste. Starters usually soup, melon & sorbet, fruit juice or one other choice. The wide selection of desserts were too tempting! Sunday evening is a salad buffet, Saturday is an international buffet so the format varied. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. We had a superior room with seaview balcony. The beach view was fabulous and the room spacious with a large shower cubicle in the ensuite. Standard of cleanliness was excellent. We felt safe staying at this hotel and would feel comfortable to be there on a solo holiday.”

“The hotel is extremely clean- staff first class, the breakfast wasreally good, nice fresh and well cooked. The position of the hotel iswonderful, with the most amazing views of the bay. The staff wereattentive, and the service was first class. Our sisters travelled theirtoo, and whilst they originally had a room with no view, the managermoved them to a suite with an amazing view and gave us two bottles ofprosecco with 8 glasses by way of apology, which was over and above whatanyone of us would have expected. The staff are always happy andsmiley.... The steps to the beach are great going down, but if you areunfit and a little older then they are a difficult. However a bus stopoutside will take you to the bottom on the hill, or there is a car parkthere, and then you and get onto the beach easily. Jersey is a wonderfullocation, slow of pace, friendly people, and wonderful scenery.”
